An opera singer at the residence Célestins
The young bass-baritone Mikhail Timoshenko has been living at the Maisons des Générations (Intergenerational centre), located at quai des Célestins in Paris, since September 2015. After studying in Russia, he graduated from the Musikhochschule of Weimar (Germany) and sang in numerous productions such as The Magic Flute, or Eugene Onegin.
In 2015, he became a member of the Academy of the Opéra National de Paris and participated, during the 2015/2016 season, in several recitals of the Academy on the stage of the Opéra Bastille amphitheatre.
Today, we can see him in the video documentary entitled « L’Opéra » on the backstage of the Opéra de Paris, directed by Jean-Stéphane Bron, in theatres now. This documentary follows the life of artists in the heart of one of the most prestigious lyric institutions in the world.
