A former resident invites the ALJT at her oath taking

Beyond the housing offered by the ALJT, the assistance and support provided by the teams help build relationships and help young people complete their education and training. Many former residents, of all ages, come back to the residences where they used to stay, as significant places of their personal and professional life, to thank the teams. Some of them remain closely linked with the association and stay in touch with the teams.

This is the case for Mariam, former resident of Paris Marcadet (18th arrondissement). When she entered the ALJT residence, she was studying at the Paris Bar School. The residence provided a supportive learning environment to prepare for the lawyer’s examination she passed successfully. Although she left the residence in 2016, she invited Jean-Christophe Lahlu, executive assistant of the 75 territorial group, to attend her oath taking on 13 February as a way to thank the ALJT.

We wish Mariam good luck in her new endeavours and thank the teams who support the residents every day.
