Opening of the residence of Cergy-le-Haut
The 6th ALJT residence of Val d’Oise was inaugurated on July 4, 2016, in Cergy, in the presence of Jean-Paul Jeandon, Mayor of Cergy, Dominique Lefebvre, Deputy and President of Cergy-Pontoise, Armand Payet, County councillor of Val d’Oise, Daniel Barnier, Secretary General of the Prefecture of Val d’Oise, and Jean-Alain Steinfeld, Chairman of the Board of Efidis.
Located near the train station of Cergy-le-Haut, the residence has 131 dwellings and has welcomed residents since December 2015. The residence, property of EFIDIS, received funding from the “Investing for the Future” programme (PIA), which enabled the accommodation of 48 apprentices in the residence, in partnership with the CCI Ile-de-France.
The aim of this partnership is to provide dwellings from 19 to 22m², fully furnished and with easy access to public transport, on a territory that has a great number of large companies, and to offer new housing opportunities for apprentices.
