Nine beehives joined the ALJT residence

New residents settled down … on the roof of the ALJT residence located at 23 rue de l’Ourcq, in the 19th arrondissement of Paris.

The roof of the residence of Grand Ourcq has hosted new residents since April 2016. These residents are bees installed in nine hives. This project aims at raising awareness among the residents and all Parisians, about the quality of their urban environments. The bees are essential to the reproduction of plants, and therefore to animal and plant life in general.

The first harvest of honey will be carried out in a few months!
